| Nestled in the middle of a 33-acre wooded estate, Clamber Hill is the perfect place to relax and unwind from the stresses of everyday life. As you head down our driveway you get the feeling you are traveling back in time to a simpler era with simpler pastimes. Enjoy the gardens. Watch the birds. Sit and relax. Read a book. Listen to music. Clamber Hill offers many choices to enjoy the out of doors: on our sunset terrace with a view to the west, our stone terraced front porch complete with perennial gardens, our covered Wisteria Terrace with a ceiling fan. Walk in the woods. Stroll leisurely on our grounds or hike right out the back door into Harvard Forest. There are many wonderful hiking trails in the area and we have hiked many of them ourselves. Our Golden Retriever, Sam, used to take our guests on guided hikes. We currently have two new dogs in training but neither one is quite ready to take Sam's place as hiking guide. So you'll just have to refer to our maps of hiking trails until Jack and Otto are ready. |
